Project Description

Our next project is to install some surveillance cameras for a business in the South Bay. The tricky part here is that two of the cameras’ wires will need to be hung between buildings. We have acquired Aerial CMX Cat6 with a messenger cable for this, and just to be safe will use strain reliefs on both ends of the transition.

For the rest of the project, we are using three Unifi G4 Bullet cameras, a Unifi Cloud Key Gen-2 Plus, and a Netgear POE+ switch. The transition from the outdoor wiring to the office will likely go under the building (it’s raised) and be filled with silicon to prevent rodents, ants or dust from entering.
